Students of "Sozvezdie" who contracted norovirus were discharged from the hospital.

All hospitalized students of the Arzamas school "Sozvezdie" have been sent home, Mayor of Arzamas Alexander Shchelokov reported on his Telegram channel.
Recall that the norovirus outbreak became known on 16 October. Rospotrebnadzor immediately closed the educational center and placed it under quarantine. The children were moved to distance learning.
Fifty people were hospitalized with an acute intestinal infection. As recently as Thursday, 23 October, 17 children were being treated there. Today, 27 October, it became known that the patients have been discharged.
"Outpatient monitoring has been established for 49 children and another 15 adults," Shchelokov said, adding that doctors plan to discharge the adult patients by the end of the week.
The students are currently on autumn break. However, the quarantine at the educational institution has not yet been lifted.
Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case over the norovirus outbreak at "Sozvezdie." The progress of the investigation is under the control of Alexander Bastrykin, head of the central apparatus of the law enforcement agency.
According to experts, the mass poisoning may have been caused by improper storage of food in the school's kitchen.
