The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, congratulated workers of road and urban passenger transport on their professional holiday, which is observed on October 26. The congratulatory message was published on the official website of the regional government.
The head of the region emphasized that the Nizhny Novgorod Region is among the subjects of the Russian Federation with the most developed logistics infrastructure. Important federal routes also pass through the region.
“Every year the region strengthens its position as one of the country’s main transport centers. It is you, employees of motor transport enterprises, who help achieve such high results!” Nikitin said. The governor expressed particular gratitude to emergency service drivers who demonstrate decisiveness in situations where every minute counts. He also noted that the smooth work of transport workers determines the functioning of industry, the social sphere, interregional connections and trade activity.
“Large industrial enterprises carry out their production tasks on time and with quality because you provide them with everything necessary by promptly delivering cargo. The lives of Nizhny Novogod residents are becoming much more comfortable and mobile thanks to your work,” the congratulatory message reads.
