      From October 27 to November 16, Russian schools will hold a "Digital Lesson" on the topic "Video Platform." Schoolchildren will learn how a modern service for storing and distributing video works using the example of the VK Video platform.

      The "Digital Lesson" project is implemented annually by ANO "Digital Economy" together with the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Education of Russia in support of the federal project "Personnel for Digital Transformation" of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," implemented by order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, as well as the national goal "Technological Leadership."

      In the new lesson, students will be able to become part of a video platform product team. They will work on developing the infrastructure and design of the video platform, and adapt solutions to the interests and needs of the audience. They will get acquainted with the technologies that ensure the stable operation of the service and the speed of video loading, and will also learn to work with interfaces and make content attractive and convenient for users.       Thanks to interactive simulators, students will be able to try on the roles of IT specialists who create and develop modern video platforms. Young people will test their skills by solving everyday tasks faced by developers, machine learning engineers, information security specialists, analysts, copywriters, and designers.

      Students from grades 1 to 11 can take part in the "Digital Lesson." To do so, you need to select the lesson on the topic "Video Platform" and the level of difficulty in the project catalog on the website. After that, students, teachers, and parents will receive access to the materials and interactive simulators.
