An intensive professional development program for students has started at the Russian Presidential Academy (RANEPA).

      A three-day educational intensive "Into the Orbit of the Professional Cosmos! Top Flight (Higher Education)" has begun at the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management.

      The training is conducted by the Center for Professional Development "Islands" — a project from Rosmolodezh — together with the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, NIU Presidential Academy, KUPNO and the Youth Career Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      About 120 students are taking part in the intensive. The main goal of the project is to help young people form an individual professional trajectory.

      According to NIU director Ekaterina Lebedeva, the Presidential Academy creates conditions not only for acquiring knowledge but also for the comprehensive development of students. She noted that training from specialists of the "Islands" Center and the Agency for Human Capital Development of the Sakhalin Region is an opportunity to receive feedback from experts of federal educational centers operating with the support of Rosmolodezh.

      "I'm sure that all this will be useful to them at the Career Forum‑2025, which will take place in November," said Ekaterina Lebedeva, director of NIU Presidential Academy.

      The program includes lectures with interactive elements, group work and self‑diagnostics. Students have already familiarized themselves with modern approaches to career development and analyzed their strengths and weaknesses, interests and professional orientations. Over the next few days participants will master career planning tools, learn about the specifics of the labor market and form a personal professional development profile.

      At the end of the intensive all participants will receive certificates and individual development plans.

      Also, during the event a roadmap for cooperation on the professional development of students was signed between NIU Presidential Academy and KMOts KUPNO.START.
