      An anesthesiologist-resuscitator at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children's Hospital will be able to retire eight years earlier. His interests in court were defended by the regional Trade Union of Health Workers.

      As Alexey Nikonov, editor-in-chief of MIA "Statsionar-Press," wrote on his Telegram channel, the doctor was initially denied early retirement because of an error in his employment record book. It did not indicate work in the resuscitation and intensive care unit, where one year counts as one and a half.

      The trade union helped prepare the lawsuit and accompanied the case at two court hearings. As a result, the court found that the doctor indeed has the right to early retirement.

      Now the medic will begin to receive payments eight years earlier than planned. According to calculations, this will bring him more than 2 million rubles.

      Earlier it was reported that a Nizhny Novgorod nurse obtained retirement 13 years earlier through the courts.
