A children's section with cartoons and educational videos has been added to the online platform.

      A special kids’ profile has appeared in the KION app, collecting cartoons, educational videos, audio tales and TV channels.

      Users can choose one of two age modes: 0+ — for toddlers up to six years old, and 6+ — for children up to twelve. Depending on the choice, the system automatically creates a showcase with appropriate content. In total, the kids’ section offers more than 150,000 items — from classic cartoons to contemporary series and films.

      Among the offered content are Soviet film fairy tales like "Cinderella" (0+) and "Morozko" (0+), foreign family films "Spy Kids" (6+) and "Wonder" (12+), as well as Russian titles such as "Domovyonok Kuzya" (6+) and "The Last Warrior" (12+). For younger viewers, popular animated series are available: "The Fixies" (0+), "Kikoriki" (0+), "BabyRiki" (0+) and "Kid-E-Cats" (0+).

      Content is organized into themed shelves to make navigation easier for children. These include selections like "Cartoons about Friendship," "Space Adventures," "Kitties and Puppies," as well as collections by age and interests: "Cartoon Hits for Toddlers," "Disney Classics," "Best Russian and Foreign Cartoons."

      The section also features so‑called super-shelves with popular franchises. For example, a separate showcase will be devoted to the hero of the animated series "The Fixies" (0+) — Nolik. He will act as a guide through the selection "Nolik Recommends: Collection of Cartoon Hits."

      Educational selections are also included in the profile. Among them are "Learning to Count," "Learning to Write," "Learning to Draw" and others. All materials are selected with age characteristics in mind.

      Navigation is adapted for a child audience: the interface is intuitive, and switching between age modes happens automatically. In 0+ mode, channels and titles labeled 6+ are unavailable. There are also "day/night" functions and a quick way to return to the adult profile.

      Digital mascots — the Fixies — also help with navigating the section. They appear on the main page, decorate avatars and participate in creating new selections, which are updated every two weeks.

      According to Alexey Ivanov, CEO of the KION cluster, creating the children’s profile was an important step in the platform’s development and made it possible to form a personalized and safe digital environment for the child.
