Nizhny Novgorod resident Anatoly Moskvin, who made dolls from children's bodies, continues to receive treatment at Psychiatric Hospital No. 2 on Iyul'skikh Dney Street. The editorial office of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" received a comment from the regional court.

They recalled that on 7 May 2025 the Leninsky District Court extended Moskvin's period of compulsory inpatient treatment by six months. He is currently still under doctors' supervision.

"No other materials have been submitted to the court," the court told us.

At the same time, on the morning of 14 October media outlets reported that doctors were allegedly preparing the patient with paranoid schizophrenia for discharge. Later a psychiatrist clarified the situation, noting that the decision regarding Moskvin will ultimately be made by the court.
