The construction of the second 17-story building on Zhurova Street in Nizhny Novgorod has been approved.

The Ministry of Construction issued a permit to build a 17-story residential building No. 2 with premises for public use and a preschool childcare facility in the Kanavinsky District. The information was published on the agency's website.
Building No. 2 will appear within the boundaries of Mendeleeva, Chongarskaya and Zhurova streets. It will become part of a residential complex consisting of two 17-story blocks with 112 apartments. The first of them has already been built.
The developer of the project is LLC "Specialized Developer Volgainvestgroup". The company obtained the right to develop the built-up area in this district back in 2014, winning the auction. The total area of the site is 1.29 hectares.
The architectural and urban planning appearance of the second block was approved in July 2023 by the regional Ministry of Urban Development. According to the project documentation, the land plot area for development is 4,078 sq. m, the building footprint is 674.5 sq. m, and the total floor area of the building is 10,759.05 sq. m.
Earlier it was reported that another residential complex with underground parking will be built in the Sovetsky District within the boundaries of Genkina, Izhorskaya, Dunaeva and Poltavskaya streets.
