Police shared details of a traffic accident near Vyksa that left two people dead.

      October 13, 2025 17:10 Incidents. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are clarifying the circumstances of a tragic accident that occurred in the Vyksunsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Recall that on October 13 at about 13:30 a 40-year-old driver of a Renault Symbol moved into the oncoming lane, lost control, crashed into a power line pole, and then collided with a stationary domestic passenger car. Three men were in the vehicle. Two passengers, reportedly brothers, died at the scene. The driver sustained injuries.

      According to preliminary information, the man behind the wheel was intoxicated.

      Traffic Police are currently continuing to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

      Earlier it was reported that in Arzamas a drunk driver crashed at speed into a gas station building, causing a fire.
