Products of Nizhny Novgorod agro-industrial enterprises won 106 medals at the Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn – 2025", which was held in Moscow. This is the largest number of awards among all regions of Russia.
The development of the agro-industrial complex is the main goal of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security", initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Among the awards won are 81 gold, 15 silver and 10 bronze medals. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was awarded a medal and the Grand Prix for its contribution to the development of the exhibition.
"The products of our agro-industrial enterprises annually prove their highest quality in various competitions, and this year's 'Golden Autumn' was no exception. This year the region is the leader in the number of medals; congratulations to the laureates! Ensuring food security is our shared most important task, and I am proud that we work on the same land. Over the past 15 years the volume of products produced by Nizhny Novgorod's agro-industrial enterprises has grown by more than 60 percent. The regional government will continue to provide the sector with all necessary support," said Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The region's delegation at the exhibition was headed by Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Sanosyan.
"The agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is becoming increasingly technological. Dairy farms are being built, new equipment is being purchased, existing lines are being modernized. This process is underway in all directions, and the number of awards in different fields proves it. Among the gold medalists are producers of dairy, meat and bakery products, farmers, livestock breeders, cheesemakers and many others. New projects are also being implemented. Today investors put every fourth ruble into the agro-industrial complex," Andrey Sanosyan emphasized.
Nikolay Denisov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, stressed that Nizhny Novgorod farmers have achieved impressive results.
"The number of awards demonstrates the highest level of agricultural development in our region. Each award is recognition of the work of our farmers, breeders, processors and all who contribute to the development of the agro-industrial complex. These achievements are the result of the coordinated work of the entire agricultural sector, the introduction of modern technologies and the relentless pursuit of excellence. I am confident that such success will become an additional incentive for the further development of the industry and new victories," the minister said.
Recall that at the XXVII Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2025" more than 40 enterprises presented their products at the Nizhny Novgorod Region's stand.
