T2 upgraded the network at Nizhny Novgorod's largest shopping and entertainment center.

      T2, a Russian mobile operator, has strengthened its network in the Fantastika shopping and entertainment complex, which is considered the largest in the region. The commissioning of the new equipment will make the mobile internet experience more comfortable for shoppers, especially during the complex's peak hours.

      The Fantastika mall has a floor area of up to 160,000 square meters. More than 200 stores operate across the building's four floors, and the food court has 900 seats. The complex has its own parking. Thanks to its convenient location and strong transport accessibility, Fantastika is visited daily by thousands of guests.

      Mobile networks in shopping centers always experience increased load. This requires mobile operators to upgrade equipment and deploy new base stations. To improve T2's network quality, the operator's technical specialists this year rapidly deployed new telecom equipment directly on the Fantastika mall's premises.

      Alexey Sidorov, Director of the Volga macro-region at T2:

      "When planning the development of our network, we pay special attention to the highest-traffic locations. The Fantastika mall is one of the most important sites on that list. To ensure its visitors a comfortable level of mobile service, we quickly built and launched indoor equipment on the center's premises. It provides a stable LTE signal inside the building and handles periods of peak load well, which are inevitable in large shopping complexes."
