      Three people went missing from an overturned boat on the Kama River in Tatarstan. As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Tatarstan, at 22:35 on October 11 a report was received via emergency number 112 that around noon in the town of Chistopol five people (no children) went out for a ride in a motorboat on the Kama River and have not yet returned. Inspectors of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS) conducted nighttime searches on the waters of the Kama River. The searches yielded no results. At 06:00 on October 12 rescuers from ZPSO No. 3 of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan set out to carry out search operations. At 06:59 on October 12 the guard of a boat station near Chistopol reported that two women had been found. According to them, at around 20:00 on October 11 their motorboat sank 200 m from the shore. The women managed to swim to the nearest island. They asked that the remaining three people (two men and a woman) be found. Search operations continue. An operational group from the Chistopol fire and rescue garrison has been dispatched to the scene.
