The premiere of the series "A Thousand 'No's and One 'Yes'" will take place on October 9.

      The premiere of the eight-episode romantic drama "A Thousand 'No's and One 'Yes'" (16+) will take place on October 9 exclusively on the online cinema Wink.ru (a joint venture of Rostelecom and NMG). The plot uses motifs from three plays by the classic of Russian drama Alexander Ostrovsky — "The Girl Without a Dowry", "Sin and Sorrow Do Not Live on One Person" and "The Jokers" — but the action unfolds in our days. The project of producer Zhora Kryzhovnikov and director Andrey Silkin features Yelena Lyadova, Angelina Strechina, Ksenia Treister, Konstantin Beloshapka, Pavel Popov, Vyacheslav Chepurchenko, Polina Gukhman, Mila Ershova, Vitaly Kishchenko and others.

      One chance meeting will forever change the lives of young Oksana from a humble family and young oligarch Sergey. It all began… at a wedding. Tanya, Oksana’s sister, is getting married. The wedding day turns into a series of disasters — literally everything goes wrong. Tanya’s ex-lover even shows up at the wedding, and the self-assured tycoon Sergey proposes to Oksana in front of everyone… Oksana’s refusal wounds Sergey deeply: "And even if you say 'no' a thousand times, sooner or later you’ll still say 'yes'!", he is sure.

Their lives take place in a resort town, surrounded by bright sun, sea and seagulls, which largely reflects on their nature, actions and deeds.       "Although we froze through all the shooting, on screen we have sun and love. I play the mother of three children who wants happiness for her offspring and therefore, perhaps, even intrusively takes part in their lives. I immediately agreed to appear in this project — the story seemed light and funny to me. Besides, a pleasant company of colleagues gathered."

      Konstantin Beloshapka, actor:

      "My character is a man who by thirty managed to earn 13 billion and did not lose a bright, at times naive, sometimes even infantile view of the world. He is driven by love — for his work, for people, for life in all its manifestations. Oksana attracted my character first of all by her unearthly beauty. And, probably, by the same youth of spirit that Sergey has preserved."

      Mila Ershova, actress:

      "My character Marina is the daughter of the local prosecutor, who outwardly seems very well-off and carefree, but in fact is under the oppression and abuse of her father. She understands that the only way for her to 'break free' is marriage."
