The contractor has begun preparations for the construction of a house for resettlers in Molitovka.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a company has been selected to construct a new residential building for residents being relocated from unsafe housing in the Molitovka neighborhood. According to information posted on the government procurement portal, the winner of the electronic auction was Vira LLC.

      The contract, signed on October 6, 2025, amounts to 635 million rubles. The new multi-apartment building is planned to be built in the Leninsky District on Golubeva Street. Under the terms of the contract, the facility must be fully commissioned no later than October 30, 2027.

      First, the contractor must complete design work — this stage must be finished by mid-2026. After that, in the second half of the summer, actual construction will begin.

      The apartment building will be erected as part of a comprehensive social infrastructure development program. The sources of funding will be the city budget and regional budget subsidies for 2026 and 2027.

      Earlier it was reported that an additional building for School No. 106 is also planned in Molitovka.

      As of September 2025, more than 700 people in Nizhny Novgorod have moved from unsafe housing into new apartments.
