Novogorkovskaya CHP improved the reliability of energy supply to consumers.

      An A-type inspection — a scheduled ongoing repair — of gas turbine unit No. 1 with a capacity of 176 MW took place at the Novogorkovskaya CHP of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of T Plus. The work performed will ensure the reliable operation of the combined-cycle power unit and the plant as a whole.

      Specialists assessed the technical condition of the main components of the gas turbine, generator and compressor, replaced the filter elements of the comprehensive air purification system, carried out scheduled repairs of the waste-heat boiler and auxiliary equipment of the combined-cycle power unit. At the same time, power engineers performed routine service maintenance on the booster gas compressors and the nitrogen plant equipment.

      "Inspections of gas turbine units are carried out annually. These are important measures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the power unit. The repairs were carried out on a tight schedule and were completed on time," said the technical director and chief engineer of the Novogorkovskaya CHP, Alexey Zaitsev.

      The inspection of gas turbine unit No. 2 at the Novogorkovskaya CHP was carried out in March of this year in accordance with the calendar plan.
