Volunteers from Nizhny Novgorod handed over the eighth motorcycle to fighters in the special military operation.

      The volunteer community of the Nizhny Novgorod region continues to support fighters located in the zone of the special military operation. Recently, volunteers sent the eighth motorcycle to the front as part of the #motonafront initiative.

      This was reported by Roman Permyakov, Deputy Chair of the Public Chamber of Nizhny Novgorod, on his social media pages. According to him, the vehicle was handed over at the request of Fedor — a fighter who has been at the front since the beginning of the special military operation and is currently serving on the Kherson direction.

      As Permyakov noted, although Fedor was not mobilized from the Nizhny Novgorod region, he is originally from the Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, and local residents consider him one of their own. However, official regional bodies, including the regional government and the "House of National Unity" center, cannot assist such fighters directly due to administrative restrictions.

      “In such cases the only way to provide help is through private initiatives. It is volunteers who can act where state mechanisms are powerless,” Permyakov emphasized.

      In addition to the motorcycle itself, with an engine capacity of 300 cubic centimeters, other necessary items were sent to the combat zone. The humanitarian cargo included 500 square meters of special netting for protection against drones, as well as spare parts for an Ural motorcycle.

      Entrepreneurs and athletes — friends of the volunteers and members of the Piranha boxing club — joined the collection of the cargo. In addition to material aid, the fighters received spiritual support — icons containing a particle of soil from the holy Diveyevo.

      “May they be protected not only by the net against unmanned aerial vehicles, but also by the heavenly protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” added Roman Permyakov.

      Earlier it was reported that Dmitry Kabaylo, the Minister of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region, delivered a motorcycle to the zone of the special military operation.

      In August 2025, Roman Permyakov, together with members of the Public Chamber of Nizhny Novgorod, sent the sixth motorcycle to the zone of the special military operation.
