Head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina reacted to complaints from parents of students at the Nizhny Novgorod State Agrotechnological University (NGATU) about inadequate living conditions in a dormitory.

On her Telegram channel she published a video sent by subscribers. The footage shows the ceilings and walls of the bathroom and toilet covered in mold.

"This is not a starry sky, this is the mold in the toilet of the Academy of Veterinary dormitory. The shower cubicle is literally collapsing because it has been eaten away by fungus," the video's author noted.

The public figure said she would send an appeal to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education demanding an inspection of the dormitory's sanitary condition and the students' living conditions.

The editorial office of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" contacted the university's press service for comment but has not yet received a response.

Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents complained about homeless people who are terrorizing store employees and local residents on Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod.
