Moscow's Dynamo thrashed Torpedo 4–1 on the road.

      Sports — Today, on October 5, in Nizhny Novgorod another regular-season Kontinental Hockey League match took place, in which the local Torpedo hosted Moscow Dynamo. The match ended with a 4-1 victory for the visitors.

      In the eighth minute Dynamo opened the scoring — Max Comtois found the net after passes from Dylan Sikura and Igor Ozhiganov.

      In the second period the Nizhny Novgorod side managed to restore the balance. Vladislav Firstov scored for the home team, with Ilya Chefanov and Nikita Rozhkov credited with the assists.

      The key stretch came in the middle of the third period, when Dynamo scored two goals in two and a half minutes. First Max Comtois completed a brace, then Artyom Ilyenko added another.

      The final score was set by Maxim Dzhioshvili, who sent the puck into Torpedo’s empty net.

      After this game the Nizhny Novgorod team remained in second place in the KHL standings, with 17 points. Moscow Dynamo rose to seventh place and now have 13 points.

      Previously Torpedo had lost to Severstal.

      It was also reported that FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod lost to Sochi in the 11th round of the RPL.
