An airline was fined for violations during the delay of a flight from Kazan. As reported by the Tatarstan prosecutor’s office, following an inspection the airline was held liable for violating passengers’ rights. In May 2025 the Kazan–Istanbul flight was delayed by approximately seven hours. More than 180 passengers were waiting for the aircraft at the airport of the capital of Tatarstan. They were not provided with drinks and hot meals in a timely manner. By decision of Rospotrebnadzor the airline was held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 14.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not comply with the requirements of regulatory legal acts). A fine of 30,000 rubles was imposed on the legal entity.
