      On October 3, 2025, City Duma deputy Svetlana Dosaeva, together with eighth-grade students from School No. 30 and Lyceum No. 8 of the Nizhegorodsky District, took part in an excursion of the historical-patriotic project "Unity — the Path to Victory!", which is being implemented at the initiative of City Duma Chairman Evgeny Chintsov in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. The project envisions acquainting eighth-graders from all schools in Nizhny Novgorod with the city's history, emphasizing the contribution of Nizhny Novgorod residents to the defense of the Motherland, from the People's Militia led by Minin and Pozharsky to the present day. The tour route includes nine stops: the Nizhny Novgorod State Museum, the monument to V.P. Chkalov, the memorial "To the units and formations formed in the city of Gorky and the Gorky region during the Great Patriotic War", the House of Soviets with an exhibition dedicated to the Special Military Operation (SMO), the memorial "Gorky Residents — To the Front", Minin's tomb in the Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Cathedral, the obelisk to Minin and Pozharsky, and the exhibition "The Feat of People's Unity". The tour concludes at the monument to Minin and Pozharsky on People's Unity Square.
