More than 300 negotiations were held by Nizhny Novgorod enterprises at the international exhibition "Innoprom. Belarus 2025." Business meetings took place both with representatives of Belarusian companies and with forum participants from various regions and other countries. In total, more than 520 companies from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other states exhibited at the Belexpo International Exhibition Center from September 29 to October 1.
The delegation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was headed by Deputy Governor Andrey Sanosyan. The delegation also included First Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Shapilov, head of the regional Export Support Center Alexandra Bessonova and representatives of nine Nizhny Novgorod enterprises*.
"Developing trade relations with Belarus is of strategic importance for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The country is among the top three largest importers of products from our region. Business ties between Nizhny Novgorod and Belarusian companies are expanding, in part thanks to the targeted efforts of the Nizhny Novgorod regional government. We actively support businesses interested in cooperating with Belarusian partners and regularly hold joint events. During the exhibition, the Nizhny Novgorod collective stand was visited by more than 1,000 people," said Andrey Sanosyan.
The organization and construction of the stand was carried out by the Nizhny Novgorod Export Support Center (ESC) in accordance with the goals and objectives of the national project "International Cooperation and Export." The Center covered the costs of renting exhibition space, construction and support, including necessary equipment and furniture, as well as registration fees for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
"Belarus remains one of the most sought-after foreign trade directions. At the 'Innoprom. Belarus' exhibition, Nizhny Novgorod businesses held several hundred negotiations with local enterprises. Belarusian partners showed particular interest in the products of Nizhny Novgorod companies working in mechanical engineering, transport infrastructure and logistics, energy equipment and technologies, and housing and communal services," noted the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Cherkasov.
A "Chemists' Forum" was also held within the framework of the exhibition for representatives of the chemical industry. More than 20 Nizhny Novgorod and 30 Belarusian chemical industry organizations took part in the event.
The national project "International Cooperation and Export," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship. The national project includes three federal projects: "Industrial Export," "Export of Agro-Industrial Complex Products," and "Systemic Measures for the Development of International Cooperation and Export."
