Large-scale residential construction is planned in the area of Akademicheskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod. Five multi-storey buildings are planned to be erected here — three of them will appear by 2028, and two more by 2039. The project will be implemented by the specialized developer "My Home Kamenki," according to documentation published on the website of the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Urban Development.
The design changes concerning the planning and surveying of the territory were officially approved by the department in September of this year. The documentation was developed by the Creative Workshop of Architect S.A. Timofeev.
Alongside housing, a school for 1,100 pupils and a kindergarten for 280 children will be built in the area. These facilities are included in the comprehensive social infrastructure development program for the Kstovo district. The kindergarten is scheduled to be commissioned by 2027, and the school by 2028.
The total area of the development site is 22.45 hectares. It is located near the village of Nikulskoye in the Kstovo district. The site development will take place in two stages.
In the first stage, planned through the end of 2027, one 15-storey and two 17-storey residential buildings will be constructed. At the same time, infrastructure development will begin: the extension of Akademicheskaya Street, and the laying of intra-block driveways and sidewalks.
The second phase, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2038, provides for the construction of two more 17-storey buildings. After that, reconstruction of the district arterial on Akademicheskaya Street and the laying of a new local street connecting to it are planned.
Upon completion of each phase, the area around the buildings will be improved. Children's and sports playgrounds, recreation areas, utility areas and parking will appear here. A total of 527 parking spaces are planned, of which 275 will be in open lots and 252 in underground parking garages.
Earlier it was reported that the authorities presented a project to renew a block on Gogol Street in Nizhny Novgorod.
