A Nizhny Novgorod bus hit a courier: an investigation is underway.

      The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region has launched an investigation into the circumstances of a road traffic accident in which a delivery courier was injured.

      The accident occurred on September 30 on Meshchersky Boulevard in Nizhny Novgorod. According to preliminary information, a route No. 70 bus collided with a man riding an electric bicycle. The injured man was wearing the branded jacket of one of the popular delivery services.

      According to Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector in the region, inspection specialists are already coordinating with the relevant authorities to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

      He said that an inspection is currently underway to determine whether the incident was work-related, and the extent and nature of the injuries sustained by the electric bicycle rider are being clarified.

      Earlier it was reported that Rostrud is examining the circumstances of the death of a worker at a plant in Zavolzhye.
