The Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Urban Development approved the project for a ski sports club in Kuznechikha.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a large-scale reconstruction project for the children's ski facility "Kuznechikha" has been approved. Plans call for the construction of a modern two-story sports complex, the installation of a ski lift, and the restoration of the ski-jump complex.

      According to documentation on the regional Ministry of Urban Development's website, the project covers a plot of 4.44 hectares located between Vaneev Street and Shchelokovsky Khutor.

      Work will be carried out in stages. By 2027, the design and construction of the sports club building and a one-story utility block are expected to be completed. After that, the installation of the ski lift will begin.

      For visitors' convenience, a new access road approximately 450 meters long will be laid to the renovated facility. Sidewalks with a total length of 561 meters will be built on both sides of the road, and a parking lot for 25 cars will be arranged nearby.

      The project also provides for the creation of functional areas, the installation of street lighting, landscaping of the territory, and the organization of a stormwater drainage system.

      It was previously reported that funding for the reconstruction of the ski-jump complex in the Kuznechikha area of Nizhny Novgorod is planned for 2025.
