A Sergach teenager, injured in a bus accident, died in hospital.

A fatal accident involving a bus and a teenager occurred in Sergach, Nizhny Novgorod Region, the press service of the regional traffic police reports.
The tragedy occurred at around 17:40 near building No. 230 on Ulyanova Street. According to preliminary information, the driver of a PAZ bus, while turning left, failed to yield to a teenager who was riding a pit bike.
After the collision the teenager was rushed to hospital. However, doctors were unable to save him.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of 2025 more than 80 traffic accidents in Nizhny Novgorod have been recorded due to bus drivers' fault.
