      Dzerzhinsk presented its experience of digital interaction with residents: 149 official government public pages, more than 1.5 million views per week and audience growth amid the active work of the Municipal Management Center (MMC).

      “We see the result: the audience is growing, activity is increasing, and most importantly — we better understand what currently concerns people. This helps to evaluate our work as well. Special thanks to the Dzerzhinsk Municipal Management Center (MMC) for training administrators and for monitoring the filling of the channels,” said the head of the city, Mikhail Klinkov.

      The development of digital platforms in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, using municipalities as an example, was discussed yesterday in Volodarsk. Together with colleagues from the municipal districts — Volodarsky, Balakhninsky, Bogorodsky, Gorodetsky, Lukoyanovsky, as well as from Bor — he took part in the round table “Effective Practices for Working with the Population.” The event was moderated by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Region’s Regional Management Center, Alexey Ushakov. He noted that it is precisely a live dialogue in such a format that makes it possible to develop unified and most effective approaches.

      He shared Dzerzhinsk’s experience. We have created 149 official government public pages on social networks with more than 1.5 million weekly post views — this is a good tool for direct communication with city residents. The administration’s largest government public page is on VKontakte: vk.com/dzeradm. Number of subscribers: 42,803 (+1,835 since the beginning of the year), number of views (since the beginning of the year): 1,305,584.

      We see the result: the audience is growing, activity is increasing, and most importantly — we better understand what currently concerns people. This helps to evaluate our work as well. Special thanks to the Dzerzhinsk Municipal Management Center (MMC) for training administrators and for monitoring the filling of the channels.

      Dzerzhinsk recently entered the top three in the public vote “Smart City of Russia,” integrating into the “Smart Municipality” platform — a system that allows you to see in real time and promptly resolve city issues: housing and communal services, traffic and others.

      For the further development of digital platforms we plan: — first, training administration specialists and administrators of government public pages; — second, promoting government public pages to increase the engagement of Dzerzhinsk residents; — third, a major direction — the development of digital feedback platforms. Work in these areas will allow us to effectively interact with the population and provide people with up-to-date information.
