      Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, visited the Vadsky District and shared the results of the trip on his Telegram channel.

      According to the head of the region, he was satisfied with the condition of the central district hospital. Together with the head of the district, Ivan Anatolyevich Uraev, Nikitin inspected the active departments and checked the progress of renovations of the infectious disease building.

      "Commendable work by Chief Physician Alexander Viktorovich Gorbunov," the governor noted.

      He also recalled that last year a new water intake station, equipped with a modern purification system, was built in the village of Vad. According to him, this should solve the water supply problem for local residents.

      Nikitin paid special attention to Lake Vad, which is a natural monument. He said the body of water has become heavily overgrown and needs assistance.

      "I have instructed the Ministry of Ecology to work on-site with specialists to explore possible ways to clean the lake," the head of the region said.

      In addition, the governor discussed with district leadership issues of public improvement, plans to repair the House of Culture, and other directions for the village's development.
