In the Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, the replacement of one of the key sections of the main heat pipeline has been completed. The work was carried out on Komsomolskaya Street as part of preparations for the heating season. Old heating and hot water supply pipelines at the site were completely replaced with new energy-efficient ones. This pipeline supplies heat and hot water to 193 apartment buildings and 25 social institutions. All work is being carried out on schedule under daily supervision by the management of the utility company and the district head.
"The management of En+ Teplo Volga made the decision to carry out a major overhaul of the heat pipeline. This is the most effective approach to ensuring that residents receive heat without incidents during the winter period," said Deputy Mayor and Head of the Avtozavodsky District Administration Alexander Nagin.
Teploseti (part of En+ Teplo Volga), as part of preparations for the heating season, carried out a large-scale repair campaign in the Avtozavodsky and Leninsky districts. Sections of heat pipelines were replaced, shut-off valves and thermal insulation were renewed, and two boiler houses were modernized, where equipment was completely replaced. To prevent emergency situations during the winter period, hydraulic tests were conducted on more than 460 kilometers of main and neighborhood networks.
"A large volume of repair work has been carried out on pipelines and heat lines. The work is being performed using modern technologies and materials that allow the service life of the replaced sections to be extended to up to 50 years. We will be glad to supply heat in the upcoming heating season to more than 400,000 residents of the Avtozavodsky and Leninsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod," said acting General Director of En+ Teplo Volga, Nizhny branch, Mikhail Efimov.
