Politics. The Regional Election Commission has provided voter turnout results for the Single Voting Day (EDG) 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast as of 12:00.
By noon on 14 September 2025, 20.94% of voters in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast had participated in the elections. This is the overall figure for the entire oblast.
Voter turnout in the elections for deputies of the first convocation of the City Duma of Nizhny Novgorod amounted to 17.82%.
Recall that voting takes place over three days — from 12 to 14 September. Polling stations are open from 8:00 to 20:00.
As part of the campaign, 428 deputies are to be elected. 1,338 candidates are competing for the mandates, of whom 29 ran as self-nominees; the rest represent various political parties.
Elections are being held across 25 municipal and 4 urban districts, including Nizhny Novgorod. In particular, 39 deputies will be elected to the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma.
