Nizhny Novgorod airport resumed operations after a threat of a drone attack, according to a message from Rosaviatsia’s official representative Artyom Korenyako on the agency’s official Telegram channel.
According to the agency, restrictions on arrivals and departures were imposed at the airport at 8:20 a.m. on 14 September. It was noted that such measures were necessary to ensure flight safety.
At 10:13 Rosaviatsia reported that the temporary restrictions had been lifted.
Nevertheless, according to the online departures board of Nizhny Novgorod airport, the departure times of six flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Antalya were postponed.
Recall, a Ukrainian drone was shot down over Nizhny Novgorod Oblast on the morning of 14 September, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
