An amount of 7.16 million rubles is planned to be spent on developing an architectural and planning concept of transport accessibility for the future Neymark IT campus in Nizhny Novgorod. This information is posted on the state procurement portal.
The customer is the State Public Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Center for the Development of Transport Systems." The contractor will be required to develop a comprehensive concept that will ensure a connection between the Chernigovskaya Embankment and the upper part of the city in the area of the IT campus or the Barminsky Ravine.
The project includes an analysis of passenger flows, demographic and infrastructure characteristics, as well as an assessment of the landscape and urban planning situation. Based on these data, specialists will determine the optimal type of transport, prepare a feasibility study and formulate the terms of reference for subsequent design and survey work.
The concept must provide for routes, intuitive wayfinding, waiting and boarding zones, as well as landscaping and greening of adjacent areas. Architectural solutions must comply with the approved campus code and take into account the features of the terrain, development and natural environment.
The project is expected to consider a 25-year development perspective. Among the tasks are forecasting passenger flows, determining the optimal fare, and assessing social, economic and environmental effectiveness. The possibility of integrating routes into the city's existing transport network will also be examined.
The contractor is obliged to complete the work within 80 working days from the date all initial data are provided. Applications for the tender are accepted until September 25; results will be announced on October 1.
Earlier it was reported that the first stage of the campus construction has been completed: 18 buildings designed to accommodate 1,300 people have been erected. The opening of the site is planned to coincide with the arrival of participants of the World Festival of Youth (12+), which will take place in September. According to the authorities, in 2025 about 200 students will begin studies in joint programs of the Neymark campus and partner universities — the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NGTU), Nizhny Novgorod State University (NNSU) and Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NNGASU).
