The Volga-Oka Directorate of Rostechnadzor demanded the suspension of the operation of two LPG filling stations in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

      The Volga-Oka Directorate of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor), at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, carried out an unscheduled inspection in August 2025 of compliance with mandatory industrial safety requirements during the operation of two automobile gas-fueling stations in the Arzamas and Ardatov districts owned by sole proprietor V.A. Dolgov.

      As a result of the supervisory inspection, 18 violations of mandatory requirements were identified. In particular, it was found that modifications had been made to the design of the gas-fueling stations without developed project documentation; there is no contract with a professional emergency-rescue formation; an industrial safety examination of the gas pipelines of the gas-fueling stations has not been carried out; routine maintenance of the gas pipelines and gas equipment is not being performed; and other violations.

      Earlier, in 2024, these violations were also recorded during a mandatory preventive visit. An order to remedy the violations was issued to sole proprietor V.A. Dolgov, which he did not fully comply with.

      The case materials under Part 1 of Article 9.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation have been sent to court for a decision on the administrative suspension of the operation of the gas-fueling stations.
