      Society. Traffic will be restricted on the central streets of Nizhny Novgorod on September 6–7 due to a sporting event. This was reported by the city's transport department.

      From 12:00 to 22:30 on September 6, the Volzhskaya Embankment will be closed in the section from building No. 13 to Sovnarkomovskaya Street, as well as Betankur Street from Samarkandskaya Street to the Volzhskaya Embankment.

      From 22:00 on September 6 to 15:30 on September 7, the restrictions will affect Proletarskaya Street in the section from building No. 14A to the Volzhskaya Embankment, the Volzhskaya Embankment itself, Betankur Street from Meshchersky Boulevard to the Volzhskaya Embankment, Samarkandskaya Street from Betankur Street to the Kanavinsky Bridge, Sovnarkomovskaya Street from Sovetskaya Street to the Volzhskaya Embankment, Sovetskaya Street from Ivan Romanov Street to Strelka Street, Strelka Street, the Kanavinsky Bridge, Pokhvalinsky Descent, Blagoveshchenskaya Square, Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment, Zelensky Descent, Shirokaya Street, Georgievsky and Kazansky descents, Minin Square, Verkhnevolzhskaya Embankment, Krasnaya Sloboda Street, as well as the Rowing Canal Embankment in the section from Krasnaya Sloboda Street to building No. 108/1 on the Rowing Canal Embankment (Pecherskie Sands Island) and to building No. 111A on the Rowing Canal Embankment.

      A detour will be organized via adjacent streets. Drivers are asked to move their cars outside the restricted areas in advance. Vehicles left within the restricted zones are subject to forced relocation. Information about relocated cars can be obtained by calling the information service at 417-17-07.

      Experts recommend studying the traffic scheme in advance, being as attentive as possible, and strictly following road signs.

      Earlier it was reported that traffic is restricted on Artelnaya Street in the Soviet District of the regional center until November 1.
