      Around 70 Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs took part in free training seminars on legal protection and marketing. The educational series is being implemented in line with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

      "Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs regularly turn to the regional center 'My Business' for help in developing their professional skills. To meet this demand, specialists analyzed the most frequent requests made to staff at the 'My Business' center branches in the municipalities and developed a series of seminars. The first training events have already taken place in Vyksa, Navashino and the town of Bor. Training seminars will also take place in Voskresenskoye and Arzamas before the end of September," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The minister added that the training is conducted by specialists from the head office of the Nizhny Novgorod 'My Business' center. During the events, experts together with participants covered issues of certification and examination of goods for export, registration of intellectual property objects and protection of personal data.

      The seminars have been running since 12 August; a total of 11 such meetings are planned to be held by the end of the year. Participants may be legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered in the registry of small and medium-sized enterprises and operating in the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      This support measure is free of charge. The next seminar will take place in the urban-type settlement of Ardatov on 10 September. One of the main points of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" was creating conditions for an easy start and comfortable operation of businesses. Work to support entrepreneurs in this direction will continue this year within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
