      In Kstovo, a verdict was handed down to the teenager who beat a radiologist during an appointment at a polyclinic. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      During a consultation at one of Kstovo’s hospitals, a patient attacked the radiologist and delivered several blows to the face and body. The victim was given the necessary medical assistance. The Investigative Committee noted that the attack occurred because the teenager suddenly developed hostility toward the doctor.

      A criminal case was opened against the minor on the charge of intentionally causing bodily harm of moderate gravity, which was under the supervision of the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin. “By the court’s sentence the minor was given a one-year suspended prison sentence with a one-year probationary period. The offender was spared the punishment and sent to a specialized closed-type institution,” the Investigative Committee reported.
