      Ten Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs and 14 self-employed individuals will present their products at the "Buy Nizhny Novgorod" fair (0+) in Balakhna on the embankment on August 30, 2025, from 10:00 to 18:00.

      The event will be accompanied by an entertainment program, master classes and quizzes.

      "The organization of the 'Buy Nizhny Novgorod' fairs is one of the important components of our work to support small and medium-sized businesses. This tool helps Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals increase the recognition of their products, and allows residents of the region to get to know local producers directly and purchase goods without additional markups. At the event participants will present meat products and semi-finished products, cheeses, household chemicals, wood, glass and ceramic items, jewelry, souvenir and leather goods," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      He added that producers from Nizhny Novgorod, Balakhna, Bogorodsk, Bor, Vyksa, Kstovo, Gorodets, Zavolzhye, the work settlement of Kovernino, Krasnye Baki, as well as the Chkalovsky municipal district will take part in the fair.

      The "Buy Nizhny Novgorod" fairs for the sale of manufacturers' products have been held in the region's districts since 2009. Local producers can obtain a trading spot free of charge.

      The schedule of fairs is adjusted monthly taking into account the proposals of the administrations of the municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
