A case concerning the disclosure of tax secrets has been opened in the Samara region.

      A criminal case has been opened in Tolyatti against a former tax inspector. The criminal case was opened on the basis of materials received from the regional directorate of the Russian FSB for the Samara Region. According to the investigation, from 2018 to 2023 the suspect, using her official position and her access to the tax authority’s information systems, at the request of an acquaintance repeatedly provided him, for monetary remuneration, information about the activities of legal entities in the Samara Region that constituted tax secrets. At present, the investigator is carrying out a complex of investigative actions in the criminal case aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the criminal activity.
