The new Lotos bus has started running between Sormovo and Verkhniye Pechery.

       Society: The first of twenty new Lotos-105C02 buses has entered service on route A-78, which connects Krasnoye Sormovo with the Verkhniye Pechery neighborhood. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Public Transport of Nizhny Novgorod and the Region."

      The new bus is a mid-class vehicle and has 60-percent low-floor design, which increases the comfort of boarding and alighting for passengers, especially for people with disabilities and parents with strollers.

      Earlier, two similar buses of this model were already in operation in the fleet of "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans."

      In addition to the Lotos-105C02, other vehicles continue to operate on route A-78 — PAZ "Vector", PAZ "Vector Next" and PAZ Citymax 9.

      It was previously reported that "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans" had begun testing a new bus model, NEFAZ-5299.

      We also remind you that the trial operation of the new-generation "Sinara" trolleybus in Nizhny Novgorod has been extended until 31 August.
