Tram track repairs in the center of Nizhny Novgorod: traffic will be restricted again

      In the center of Nizhny Novgorod vehicle traffic will be temporarily restricted on two streets due to tram track repairs, the city administration reported.

      From 3 to 18 September cars will not be able to pass along Osharskaya Street in the area of its intersection with Oktyabrskaya Street. Then, from 19 September to 20 October, traffic will be closed on Alekseevskaya Street — also at the intersection with Oktyabrskaya.

      Drivers are advised to use neighboring streets to bypass the closed sections. The mayor’s office recommends familiarizing yourself in advance with the new traffic pattern and strictly following the road signs.

      Recall that large-scale work to replace the tram tracks on Osharskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod began at the end of July.

      It was also reported that the contractor began trial runs of the tram tracks on the Oksky Descent in Nizhny Novgorod.
