Five entrepreneurs from Nizhny Novgorod are taking part in the U’Fashion LAB international fashion week in Yekaterinburg. The event is held as part of the International Festival of Creative Industries from August 18 to 20, 2025. Assistance was provided by the regional Center for Export Support (CPE) in accordance with the goals and objectives of the national project “International Cooperation and Export.”
The Center for Export Support covered expenses related to organizing the business program of the trip. Nizhny Novgorod companies are participating in a conceptual showroom of designers and brands, a pitch session, and trade-procurement sessions with the participation of about 15 major buyers.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, noted that the International Fashion Week in Yekaterinburg has become a platform for meetings between industry leaders, designers and representatives of the creative business from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the UAE and China.
“Nizhny Novgorod Region was represented at the event by companies specializing in the production of outerwear, accessories, leather goods and embroidered clothing. Participation in the event allowed Nizhny Novgorod participants to showcase their products to potential partners, including foreign ones, and to hold more than 50 negotiations with representatives of foreign companies,” said Maxim Cherkasov.
Participants in the business trip included Reap LLC (TM REUP) (clothing manufacturing); individual entrepreneur Oksana Vladimirovna Kosareva (TM COSAREVE) (clothing and accessories manufacturing); individual entrepreneur Yulia Olegovna Tuboltseva (TM TIU) (clothing and accessories manufacturing); individual entrepreneur Polina Sergeevna Kokurina (TM POLONE) (clothing and accessories manufacturing); and individual entrepreneur Evgenia Nikolaevna Komissarova (TM JS SENSE) (clothing and accessories manufacturing).
One of the participants from the Nizhny Novgorod Region is TIU brand founder Yulia Tuboltseva. Her company specializes in creating statement suits, jackets, blazers, skirts and shirts.
“We are currently working to expand the geography of our sales, including by entering international trade. State support is helping us implement our plans. For example, in 2023 we took part in the 16th Bee-together International Industrial Exhibition-Platform and were able to increase brand recognition. In addition, experts from the regional center ‘My Business’ told us about the tools offered by the Nizhny Novgorod Region Center for Export Support, and we now actively use them to develop our business. We hope that participation in the U’Fashion LAB international fashion week will help us find suppliers abroad. On the first day of the event we had already held 11 negotiations with potential partners,” said Yulia Tuboltseva.
The national project “International Cooperation and Export,” initiated by President Vladimir Putin, is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship. The goals of the national project are to develop foreign economic ties with friendly countries, increase exports of goods and services, grow supplies of agricultural products, and create international export infrastructure. Since 2025 the national project includes four federal projects: “Export of Industrial Goods,” “Export of Agricultural Products,” “Systemic Measures for the Development of International Cooperation and Export,” and “Creation of Overseas Infrastructure to Support Exports.”
