The regional branch of United Russia and the House of National Unity sent a humanitarian shipment to Kursk Oblast for the party’s volunteer center. The aid includes about 2,500 cans of meat preserves: stewed beef, pork and ham. About 20 tons of drinking water were also delivered for residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Vehicles for delivering the cargo were provided by the party’s regional branch. The water — by the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The region continues to face a difficult situation with water supply: there is an acute shortage of drinking and technical water. Party activists distribute bottled water and install tanks in courtyards so that residents can collect water for household needs. Special attention is paid to supplying drinking water to Russian servicemen.
“Participation in the humanitarian mission today is the most important task for any citizen. The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the party is carrying out active work in this area. Our activists throughout the region collect, prepare and deliver shipments for fighters and civilians located in the SMO zone. Local party branches are always ready to provide assistance to anyone willing to offer what they can,” said Dmitry Filipenko, head of the regional executive committee of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party.
Recall that residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region provide ongoing support to servicemen, displaced persons, those who are in the liberated territories, and residents of border regions.
The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch and the United Russia party’s volunteer center organized operational headquarters in the first days of the SMO, involving the party’s deputies and various organizations. Shipments for servicemen and civilians are being sent on a continuous basis. Deputies and activists together with partners regularly deliver necessary items: special equipment, medicines, food.
