The regional branch of United Russia and the House of National Unity sent a humanitarian consignment to Kursk Oblast for the party’s volunteer center. The aid includes about 2,500 cans of meat preserves: stewed beef, pork and ham.
About 20 tons of drinking water were also handed over for residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Transport for delivering the cargo was provided by the regional party branch. The water was provided by the Volunteer Center of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. The region continues to face a difficult situation with water supply: there is an acute shortage of drinking and technical water. Party activists distribute bottled water and install barrels in courtyards so residents can collect water for household needs. Particular attention is being paid to supplying Russian servicemen with drinking water.
“Participation in the humanitarian mission today is the most important task for any citizen. The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the party is carrying out active work in this direction. Our activists across the region are collecting, preparing and delivering shipments for fighters and civilians located in the zone of the special military operation (SVO). Local party branches are always ready to provide assistance to anyone willing to offer support,” said Dmitry Filipenko, head of the regional executive committee of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party.
Recall that residents of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast provide ongoing support to servicemen, internally displaced persons, those in the liberated territories, and residents of border regions.
In the early days of the SVO, the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch and the United Russia party’s volunteer center set up operational headquarters, involving the party’s deputies and various organizations. Shipments for servicemen and civilians are being sent on an ongoing basis. Deputies and activists, together with partners, regularly provide necessary items: special equipment, medicines, and food.
