The "Gosuslugi" portal is preparing for a large-scale transformation. In particular, a significant expansion of the "Life Situations" service, which is intended to simplify citizens' interactions with government bodies, is planned. Alexandra Pozharskaya, an expert of the People's Front project "For Borrowers' Rights," told the 360 TV channel about this.
The experiment with this service proved successful, and it is now planned to be rolled out on a broader scale. This will allow citizens to receive government services more quickly and efficiently, as well as reduce the level of stress associated with having to visit various agencies.
According to Pozharskaya, expanding the functionality of "Gosuslugi" will not only improve the quality of services provided but will also have a positive impact on the environment. This is because reducing bureaucratic procedures and the number of paper documents will help lower the burden on the environment. All of a citizen's main documents are already in their personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal, and they can be easily uploaded if necessary.
For those who for some reason cannot use the internet service, multifunctional centers will be retained, Pozharskaya noted. This will ensure access to government services for all categories of citizens.
Recall that since the beginning of 2024, more than 180 digital "Life Situations" services have been implemented in Russian regions. They are available on the Unified State Services Portal and regional platforms and allow citizens and businesses to promptly resolve important issues in specific life circumstances.
