Dear People's Initiatives

      Eight initiatives proposed by the residents are being implemented in the Lukoyanovsky district under the governor's project "You Decide!" this year. Some of them have already been realized. Among the completed projects are the repair of the roads on Novaya Street in Chirgusha and from 1 May Street to the cemetery in Bolshoy Mameliev, the replacement of water supply networks on Zagorodnaya Street in Lukoyanovo and Mekhanizatorov Street in Lopatino. The repair of a section of the road on Proletarskaya Street in Kudeerovo has recently been completed. Now local residents can travel on the new asphalt surface and do not need to worry about mud during rainy days. The idea to participate in the competitive selection of the "You Decide!" program was born in Kudeerovo about a year ago. At general meetings, they discussed plans and chose a specific site for future updates. The villagers selected an initiative group, which for several months closely handled all organizational issues, interacted with the administration, and encouraged fellow countrymen to support the project in the public vote. As a result, all stages—from application formation to monitoring of repair work—took place with the direct involvement of concerned residents. Each of them can be proud of the result achieved through joint efforts. Meanwhile, applications are still being accepted for participation in the governor's initiative budgeting program "You Decide!" for 2026. The deadline is September 15. On the project website (vam.golosza.ru), residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region can submit applications electronically in eight categories: "Our Roads," "Our Yard," "Sport for All!," "All the Best — for Children," "Public Spaces," "Our Infrastructure," "Our Initiative," and "Youth Policy."
