      The women's team kept its name. The Nizhny Novgorod volleyball club "ASK" changed its name, as reported on the team's official Telegram channel. The men's volleyball team will now perform as VK "Gorky" — the name was chosen through a public vote. Meanwhile, the women's team "Sparta" will retain its name — this decision was made by the Nizhny Novgorod supporters. Additionally, VK "Gorky" has a new logo, colors, and brand book. "The main element of the logo is a flying shearwater — a bird symbolizing freedom, strength of spirit, and courage in Maxim Gorky's 'Song of the Shearwater.' At the same time, the contours of the bird resemble the letter 'G' — the first letter in 'Gorky' — and the figure of a volleyball player in a serve," the statement says. The primary color of the brand book is a rich red, symbolizing passion, dynamism, and the strength of competition. Secondary colors are wine red, imparting emotionality and strength and excellent for accents, and light blue, evoking a sense of lightness and space. The palette is complemented by dark blue, which creates background depth and contrast, and light gray shades.
