EconomyIn Nizhny Novgorod, restrictions on the retail sale of alcoholic beverages will be imposed on August 2. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional Department of Entrepreneurship Development.
The decision was made in accordance with current legislation. The department explained that the events dedicated to the celebration of Airborne Forces Day are officially classified as mass events and have been coordinated with regional executive authorities.
Restrictions apply only to retail outlets located directly within the area of the festive events. In other districts of the city, the sale of alcoholic products will continue as usual.
It was previously reported that municipal fountains will remain operational on Airborne Forces Day. Preventive conversations are planned with those who wish to enter the fountains.
