In Nizhny Novgorod, a software complex is planned to be implemented, which will allow integration of data from the "Safe City" video surveillance cameras into the Unified Transport Management Platform (UTMP). The customer is the Transport Systems Development Center, which announced this procurement.
The contractor will need to develop and implement a software suite capable of receiving and processing video streams from at least 15 cameras simultaneously. This data will be used for detailed analysis of traffic flows, including vehicle counting, average speed determination, road congestion levels, and other parameters.
The system will recognize 14 types of vehicles, record traffic density, queue lengths, delay times, parking duration, and detect congestion. All data will be displayed on a map, archived, and used to generate graphs and analytical reports.
Integration with "Safe City" cameras will improve the accuracy and timeliness of traffic monitoring, as well as provide more flexible traffic management.
The system will be capable of filtering objects by status, detecting pedestrians, camera displacements, image degradation, and emergency situations.
Applications for participation in the procurement are accepted until August 4, with the results expected to be announced on August 8. The initial contract price is 5 million rubles.
It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region was recognized in four categories of the national "Smart City" award for urban digitalization.
