The Nizhny Novgorod chemical manufacturer became a participant in the federal "Labor Productivity" project.

      LLC "Sintez-Acetone 2000" from Dzerzhinsk became the 291st participant in the federal "Labor Productivity" project within the national "Efficient and Competitive Economy" program. Expert teams from the Federal Center of Competence (FCC) will implement lean manufacturing tools at the company.

      The company specializes in the production of acetone, isopropyl alcohol, sodium percarbonate, and hydrogen peroxide.

      "In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 15 companies involved in chemical production are participating in the federal 'Labor Productivity' project. Some firms have already completed full implementation cycles of lean technologies and have achieved good results. For example, Okapol increased output by 15%, KhimAuto by 50%, and Moser by 56%," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      FCC experts will work at the enterprise for six months. During this period, they will conduct audits and eliminate bottlenecks on the pilot production line.

      From 2019 to 2024, this support measure was implemented as part of the national "Labor Productivity" project, and from 2025, it continues within the framework of the federal "Labor Productivity" project of the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" program.

      Already, 291 companies in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are adopting lean technologies with government support.

      The "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the main instrument for shaping a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and enhancing the state system of statistics and forecasting.
