      In the center of Nizhny Novgorod, a new building for Polyclinic No. 38 is planned. The project is scheduled for implementation from 2027 to 2029. This was reported by "Kommersant-Privolye."

      

      Currently, the polyclinic is housed in a historic building at 78 Ilyinskaya Street. It does not meet modern requirements, as it is designed for only 86 visits per shift and is not adapted for patients with limited mobility.

      

      The new building will increase capacity to 300 visits per shift. Construction is included in the regional program for the modernization of primary healthcare, planned until 2030.

      

      The preliminary cost of the project amounts to 1.06 billion rubles. Of this sum, regional authorities expect to obtain 986 million rubles from the federal budget. The program approval, which must include the facility, is expected in July 2025.

      

      After funding is confirmed, the region will engage a design organization at its own expense. The completion of the design is scheduled for 2026.

      

      Currently, a suitable site is being selected. The preliminary consideration is a territory of 5 thousand square meters within the boundaries of Malaya Yamskaya, Ilyinskaya, Maslyakova, Bolshiye Ovrazy, Malaya Pokrovskaya, and Obuzhnaya streets.

      

      Earlier, it was reported that more than 10 million rubles were allocated for the major overhaul of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Narcological Dispensary.
