      Society Since the beginning of 2025, more than 305,000 residents of Nizhny Novgorod have undergone dispensary monitoring within the compulsory medical insurance system. These data were provided by the territorial FOMS fund of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Telegram channel of the editorial office of the medical publication "Stationary Press" by Editor-in-Chief Aleksey Nikonov.

      The largest number of patients—more than 187,000 people—were monitored for cardiovascular diseases. Over 50,000 undergo regular examinations and treatment for diabetes. Additionally, 27,000 residents with oncological diagnoses and about 13,000 with respiratory system pathologies are under supervision.

      Nikonov explained that dispensary monitoring, unlike dispensary examination, includes regular consultations with specialists, preventive check-ups, diagnostic procedures, as well as outpatient and inpatient treatment. All services are provided free of charge under the MHI policy.
